In the early evening of Tuesday 20^th December, at the Christmas Wonderland in Oinousses, the traditional festive party organised by TEO, took place after a two year absence. As in previous years, Christmas gifts were purchased locally from the two gift shops and were given to each of the fifty children on the island. Father Christmas made a surprise appearance and gave each child their gift. With festive music playing  in the background, the children enjoyed home-made cookies and savoury treats from the local bakery and also soft drinks, juice and water, whilst the adults warmed up with some brandy, all from the Periptero and offered  by TEO. The reports from the island confirm that the event was a great success. This event has become a lovely tradition, giving joy and festive spirit to the island community, which is appreciated and looked forward to each year.
