On Friday 18th August, under the starry night sky of Oinousses, the first annual Bilali Beach Party took place.

This fundraising event was supported by the Oinoussai Benevolent Fund, who will match the funds raised.
The support and donations will go directly towards art and music projects on the island, such as the purchase of musical instruments and arrangement of art classes for young and old.

On the night, dinner was served from 9pm, which was sourced from the main restaurants on the island. The DJs Taramaselekta and Bags of Bass got the party started with hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s.
At midnight, there was a greeting from the organisers, Costas, Elianna and Alex, and John M. Hadjipateras on behalf of OBF, who congratulated the organisers and proposed that this fundraising event should become annual. This was followed by the raffle draw where many fun prizes were offered by local shops and restaurants. The party continued with lots of dancing until the early hours, with an eclectic mix from the DJs.
